Ben Grace was born in Santa Rosa, CA and from a young age showed a strong affinity for the creative process. Attending art classes and workshops throughout his early and adult life has helped hone his creative talents. Ben enjoys creating his work in a variety of media, with oils his usual media of choice. Ben graduated from CSU, Chico with a degree in graphic design and an emphasis in the creative arts.

Ben currently resides in his home town with his lovely wife Christina and daughter Emma, showing his work locally. Ben divides his time between his graphic design work and his studio painting – a happy marriage as each disipline complements the other nicely

Ben is inspired and driven by observing the world around him and feeling the connection he has with it. Many of his paintings are inspired by the struggles and joys we all feel in life. How we affect our surroundings and how it affects us is a continual theme in much of his work.
